My experience using this car park was horrendous. There is a lack of signage to show where the pay machines are which meant walking along the parking area trying to find one. When trying to get information by using the help button at the entrance all I got was a very unhelpful man so I had to walk along the parking area again. Each time that I accessed the level where the pay machine was supposed to be meant passing by a homeless person laying on the floor, which for a lady on her own was rather intimidating. The access areas to the parking bays are very run down and in need of refurbishment and there are signs warning people not to put their hands along the hand rails as there has been cases of hyperdermic needles being found taped under the rails. I certainly would not be keen to use this car park again.
Your car is not getting nicked from here - metal barriers on the exit, ANPR on the go and cameras everywhere.
It's located for a quick walk into the Cathedral Quarter or main City centre.
It's a typical price for an inner city carpark so don't moan you have been warned.
The only downside is that it was built when cars were much smaller and it's pretty tight around the corners, especially with low metal railings and concrete guides - plenty of free paint left behind by drivers showing us all how tight it is.
