Ashford Multi-storey Car Park

As a car park, lots of spaces are available here. However it's very grim, dark and smelly, especially in the staircase. The only redeeming factors are that the prices dirt cheap (as low as 40p for 30 minutes) and it's located right in the middle of the town center. It could really do with a refurbishment if they want to see more usage.

This is not a safe place after dark. During the day this is a great place to park, always a space and dead central however when the sun goes down its another case altogether. Extremely dark with only the odd light working / flickering, laughing gas cannisters all over, a general public lavatory smell and shady characters lurking around. Not great. Even the dentist we were visiting told us to be careful as people get mugged in there. How this is deemed as acceptable by the council is beyond me.
