Shipley park car park

Decent size car park with height restriction, possibly 2 meters although can't be sure. Can pay with card for a ticket . £1.60 for 2 hours, £3 for 4 hours can't remember how much for all day but seems fair . Lots to do in the park, good for kids and dog walkers

Lovely visit, nice trails, very peaceful.

One of the best country parks in Derbyshire. It's a shame that the old American Adventure site is now being developed into a huge housing estate. I can't help thinking this is going to negatively impact the park and the local community.

Contactless payment available - massive car park - better than using the street - space for larger horse transporters too
