Castle Car Park

Ok for a short time but once over 6 hours there is now a massive price increase

I paid for my ticket, I could proof it but I lost it on the way to the car and I was told to pay £15 to get out. Apart from that it’s a good car park.

Located well spaces are quite small if you have a larger car.

When you can get a space, it's fine. But I have been here and driven around for close to 20 minutes looking for a space only to find none despite signs showing there to be space. Stairwells down to Sainsbury's are grotty and smell awful so try to use the Sydenham road side... When the elevators work.

A place to park your car with a hefty charge, as usual. Uses tickets.

Parking in Guildford is a bit of a joke. All car parks now seem to offer a minimum charge for parking up to 3 hours which will cost you £3.60. if you are staying for three hours that is ok, but many people are being ripped off now by this new tariff. There is probably an argument saying they are trying to reduce taffic through Guildford but does increasing parking costs actually help solve that issue? Nope because the traffic is still ridiculous. But at least someone makes a bit more money out of it 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve had the joy of coming to this car park may times.

Finding a parking space can be similar to winning the lottery at times, especially when it’s a sunny day.

The 'car park is full' sign doesn't always illuminate in the circumstances that it should, creating an unusual scenario were I go up and down the 6 stories several times in the pursuit of finding a free space.
Under these conditions, the going price for a parking space is greater than that of a single bed flat on Oxford Street.

Apart from this, my car doesn't move and there are white lines as well.

Good central location. Wish all the machines working for payment though.
