Patient / Visitor Car Park (P1)

It's an overpriced hospital car park as usual. Nothing more to say, apart from be prepared to add extra time for your appointment as you'll no doubt be driving around the hospital several times before finding a spot in one off several other overpriced ones. Why they have to charge people so much is beyond me, considering you may well be waiting for several hours before being seen you better take out a loan beforehand.

Watched people having trouble using machines with queue building up which could put up the time spent on car park resulting in a bigger fee.

Depending on the time of day there are plenty of spaces. Pay when you leave

Not wanting to be negative about any part of our NHS.
This car park kiosk (payment) was not working properly, a hospital worker helped.
Had to use intercom to get barrier lifted.
I'm sure this will have been corrected by now.

Managed to park ok on P1. Great problems trying to pay. Big queues at 3 machines because they were unreliable and difficult to use.

Bit expensive but what to do no other option still five star as its easy to park and very close if you going to eye outpatient

Disabled parking spaces are not Disabled spaces marked up with a disabled sign no space to get disabled person out of car into a wheelchair and as usual charges are ridiculous.

Patients and sick people shouldn't be charged parking fees. When people are sick, they don't need this on their plate aswell
