Water Meadows Leisure Centre car park

I lane swim in the competition pool three times a week and love it.
Changing cubicles are numerous and clean as are the showers, and there are allways plenty of friendly helpful staff to help you should you need them.
The water is allways gin clear and just the right temperature for distance swimming.
An up to date gym,leisure pool with slides and wave machine not forgetting the cafe complete the package.

What a place! Fun for all the family. Prices are very affordable and my daughter lives her swimming lessons. The children's leisure pool has lots to keep them entertained at peak times it is braclet controlled and you will be asked to leave when your time is up.

The changing facilities are communal with lots if cubicles. Which makes it easier for a father to change their daughter with out all the questions.

The adults pool looks good and lanes are in operation for the serious swimmers iut there.

The close proximity to the town centre means that you have to pay for parking but you do get reimbursed by the pool when you use it.

All in all this is a good place to burn calories and time.

Been to many swimming pools in my life but nothing beats Watermeadows the staff are friendly and are always happy to see you. Even during this challenging Covid-19 pandemic which we've all found ourselves in, they've continued to go above and beyond their limits to keeping us all safe. You are an amazing lot, and are appreciated. thankyou

I'm going to be honest here it could be cleaner, there is still sand in the pool from god knows when lol 😆
The toilets didn't smell too good either 😕
Still take kids but a bit off a clean and vamp up is needed 👌

Carparking is a bit misleading with lots off a4 printed off giving too much info on other carparks paid 1£ at 305pm which allowed me to stay until 9am apparently.. venue itself is good, but facilities either closed/ closing or under used. Gym,cafe.

Great to take the kids come rain or shine, has quite a few mini slides for the toddlers.
Great wave machine comes on twice in an hour.

Under 4's swim free and there's a soft play for after for parents to grab a coffee or bite to eat.

A great place for a family swim but the restrictions seem unnecessary now so I'll not be going back until it's back to normal

Wanted 2 hours but had to come back to reception to get wrist band for 2nd hour.
Not good when your in wet swimmers!
