Long stay car park ideal for a day on the rails with with NYMR or to explore Pickering. It’s currently (2022) £6 for the day which is good value. There’s about 100 spaces so plenty of room. There looks to be plans to offer further facilities in the future but for now a good place to park for the day. There’s no pay and display but a friendly attendant will collect your money or there’s an honesty box if they are away for any reason.

Don't visit,it is now a car park their is no fun fishing no pond .the signs still direct you to the place.was annoyed as we spent £5 for parking only to be told we are 6 years late and ended up hav a very upset 5 year old.

Reasonable priced parking, prefect for the train with great ice creams and coffee

Followed the sign on the wall by the steam railway station and according to the website, and couldn't find any fun fishing!
When I spoke to a local gentleman I was told the lake had been filled in years ago!
Disappointing...
