A beautiful car park. Too small to accommodate all the enthusiasts during the weekend, so make sure you turn up early. Picnic area, some boats and a path for a nice leasurely stroll. Watch out for dogs if you don't like wet kisses though.

Free car park, little bit crowded because of a funeral at the church and muddy due to the time of year but easy access to Colemere and a nice walk close by.

It's free, a lovely spot to sit and have lunch either before or after a lovely walk plus across the road is the vineyard. Book a tour there and it would be a very enjoyable day out all round!

Fantastic circular walk. Fairly easy, suitable for pushchairs. Great for dog walking.

Right on the edge of Colemere so easy access to the walks around the mere, along the canal towpath and into Ellesmere

This is a great place to visit and has a free large carpark which also has some noticeboards which give you information on the mere how they are made and what they are and also the walk around the mere. The walk will take an hour and is 3.5Km around. You can also on your walk around the mere you can walk the shorpshire Union canal if you want. The walk can be done if it has been wet .
