Yesterday was our first visit and will most definitely not be our last. We had a lovely day out.....the gardens are beautifully kept as is everything else. The garden centre & gift shop have a lovely selection & the staff are very welcoming. We had a fabulous trip - one day wasn't enough to take our time to visit all the areas we wanted to see. We'll be back!

Beautiful place with the deers, but they don't take cards in the cafe and there's no signal at all, so any "modern" payment methods won't work. They don't even accept phones as cards.

A large grass/gravel car park with loads of spaces. Can pay with cash, card or Phone app. Is free for NT members but need to scan your card to get a ticket. There is a cafe and toilets close by. Handy for visiting the lower end of the car park.

Opens early so good if you want to get there before others, gravel surface but pretty level.
Free for Blue Badge holders although there is nothing on display to tell you this, I found out from web site and on arrival confirmed it from staff member.

Parked up and saw a deer just wandering around at the top of the car park! Our daughter thought it was amazing!

Disappointed that the cafe was closed and only a hatch round the back was open the line was massive so we gave it a miss as it can be very slow!!

Close to the deer park and has toilets and a cafe close by. The car park is also free for National Trust members.

This national trust car park charges 2 quid to park. You can access the national trust cafe without having to go into the fountains. It expensive but nice to finish a walk on. You can access the Deer park. St Marie's church (marble pillars made from Nidderdale mined limestone complete with fossils) occasional organ recitals, wander round three park find the ice House and explore the 7 bridges walk.
