It's the best road to drive in Scotland if your a driver's driver it's a trill of a lifetime driving this road, the scenery is breathtaking, showing the best of Scotland's beauty, and mountains and glen's!

On a clear day the drive over the Old Military Road offers stunning views & it's worth stopping at either the view point car park close to the Cairn O'Mount or in the lay-by at the Cairn to properly take these in.

What a great view, from Stonehaven to Dundee and down over Fettercairn and Laurencekirk to the North sea

Beautiful views even when it was a bit over cast. If you get a bit car sick I would recommend taking some medication, it saved me!!
