Cardiff Barrage Pay and Display Car Park

Convenient car park that provides access to cardiff barrage, it’s accessible with plenty of disabled spaces which is wide enough to fully open your door.

This place does get very busy in the summer months so expect to be waiting a while.

Prices have gone up over the years and at time of writing is £1 an hour (was 50p only a few years ago)

Main negative is the width of normal spaces, it’s small and because of the location, it can get very windy. I’m a local fisherman here and my car has been battered and bruised from all the doors catching the side of the car. Take this into consideration on a windy day.

Great location to eat your fish and chips and enjoy a relaxing walk across the barrage. Café is ok, staff always say toilets out of action cos staff are too lazy to look after them

car park with great views of the barrage and cardiff bay, fishing can be done from the barrage, you can take a stroll along the barrage to cardiff bay, theres also a childrens play area here. And you can hire bikes from nextbike or pedal power when they are open.

Amazing place to enjoy with friends. Been there many times. Always fun and great scenery as well.

Pay and display car park, ideal for parking and walking across the barrage. It is good place for adults and children but the beach is not good for children as it is Rocky beach!

Reasonably priced carpark, with decent amount of parking. Never had issues other than the machine playing up a few times. You can use mipermit app anyway

Clean and beautiful, and you can take a bike for a very small amount and walk around the place and there there are large watery saliva and you can come in special clothes or take clothes from the same place with all safety matters and monitors
