Fantastic walk for the dog off lead, be mindful of horse riders and bikers though :) lovely walk with great views paths are clear and easy to navigate. Even when the car park is full you barely come across others. Very family friendly.

A gem of a place, get there early as car parks are rather small. The walking is wonderful and spectacular views from the clearing. I'm sure it will not disappoint.

Very quiet at night, great for stargazing on a clear night but car park gets rather busy during the day

Beautiful walk through one of the most underrated areas of North Wales. Geocache in the car park too if you're into them!

A really lovely walk, even in the wet weather. I did the circular with my dog and it took just over an hour walking about 4 km/hr pace. The path is easy going, a little rocky underfoot. No overly steep inclines, some leisurely up and downs. At the moment quite a few puddles. You can see they are cutting some of the trees down that have fallen in recent storms but nothing across the path to bother you when I went today (8.12.21).
