It's a good car park, reasonable prices, free after 6pm and on Sundays, convenient location, usually has spaces at the weekend, although I don't know about weekdays. There are toilets and a tourist information centre next to it, too.

Cheap parking £1 70 for 3 hours. Handy for castle, river, various pubs, 10 minutes walk to main shops. And museum which is closed Wednesday's

Came upon this castle (White castle) in an isolated commanding spot on Offa's Dyke. Extensive ruins definitely worth a visit

Very nice that there are free loos but watch your feet if they've washed the floor (they put up a sign to warn you) because it makes the surface like a skating rink and a bog floor isn't the most delightful place to fall on to.

Small car park at the bottom end of Chepstow right by the castle and the river. £1.50 for 2 hours and you can pay with cash or card at the machine or by card on the app. There are free toilets and a baby changing room and a tourist information shop selling souveniers. There is also a cafe, however it wasn't open when we visited probably because of the time of year. From the car park there are various walks which are well signposted.

Perfect for visiting the castle, which is literally beside this car park. Not the largest car park at 110 spaces, and it was virtually full this August afternoon. Free toilets on site, and also the Tourist Information Centre. Also very close to a couple of nice looking pubs if you need refreshments before or after visiting the castle. Chepstow Museum is across the road. Very reasonably priced at £1.90 for 3-hours. Pay and display - cash or cards. And there was a parking warden checking cars while we were there....
