The car park is small with no facilities but is free....This is a great path to walk away from the road, it follows the old railway line and you can also access the canal...This path leads all the way up to Brynmawr should you choose to walk or cycle that far. It is nice and flat with a slight incline, lots of beautiful scenery, wildlife and trees. We love to walk the dog along here. It varies how busy it is depending on weather/days/times. Free small car park but a great place to explore the canals, Blorenge or cycle path.

Sweet little spot, ideally situated in llanfoist and good for dog walks, cycling, walking or just stopping for a little break.

Myself and My Partner Have Walked This Local Historical Line A Number Of Times And Cycled The Line Also. But Let's Not Forget, This Local Railway Line Is A Key Part Of Our Former & Local Industrial Past And And As You Walk Stroll Or Even Cycle, it's Quite Amazing Just How Much Of This Historical Line You Take In. But It Is Well Worth It. And Watched Will Millard On The TV With A Local Historian Walking The Line But Can't Remember The Local Historian's Name Unfortunately. And These Pic's Are Of Llanfoist Govilon Gilwern And Clydach.

Great little place to park then go for a nice walk along the canal or old railway line

Parked under trees, which was handy in the rain. The car park is meant for the railway path, so no obvious directions to the canal tow path. Also no signs for where to leave the tow path, unless you ride further west and use the link down to the railway path (and cycle back to the car park).

Small car park. Popular walk for dog owners. Nice 50 minute circular stroll along old railway track (tarmacced)and turn up to canal side for the return. A clean walk in Winter.
