Convenient for walking along the canal. No facilities, space for about 6-8 cars. There's a short drive of about 200m from the road to the car park so it's safe to let dogs out into the towpath as they're unlikely to run to the road. You can also launch kayaks and open canoes from here as there are rubberised sections of bank to avoid damage.

Good base to park up ready to explore up and down the canal. Stretches of the canal was drained for Winter maintenance

Picnic area close to carpark. Carpark small. In good weather you could walk along the tow paths.
