Popular dog walking area, dogs on leads due to herd of wild horses roam free around sand dunes

Nice quiet location however no toilets

Very clean and tidy toilets are car park area

Good walk, and interesting flora

Fascinating location, try not to get lost..

Good free parking and lots of directions to walk to from here

I wouldn't normally rate a car park, but this has the most attractive feature. The boundary of the parking area is marked by large slabs of slate, mounted vertically, and decorated by a local artist and school children. You can then walk down to the river, and them maybe upriver to a set of stepping stones, but I'm not sure about that.
