Montgomery Castle Car Park

A small, free car park for Montgomery Castle. Open from 10am until 4pm, open until 9pm in July to September. The gate is locked after these times but the castle is still accessible.
Car park surface is fairly compressed gravel, some potholes in places. There are a few disabled spaces, but these are just closer to the entrance of the castle.

The car park is very small and will only accommodate a few cars but the castle is free to enter. Some new information signs have been put up giving the history of the castle and there are some fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. Worth a visit.

Bit tight parking, but if you fancy the walk, just park in town instead. The views from the old castle are amazing and the history is really interesting and odd at the same time. Funny little stories of what history went on there. Loads of room for kids, but be careful there theres unsafe drops everywhere.

Ok and easy to find as it was a Sunday the lovely farmer opened the car park for us.

Small. No markings. Adequate. Close to castle and war memorial.

The car park is very convenient for the Castle but can get very busy in the summer.

Free car park, 1 disabled bay, no pot holes.
