Fabulous old theatre with amazing architectural features. It was like stepping back in the past. Lovely warm ambience and very friendly staff. Please support this theatre...

Really nice little theatre. The first 8 rows in the stalls aren't staggered, so if you're going to book a show I would recommend booking row H and back.
Me and my daughter went to see the horrible histories show and it was great fun for what we paid.

Excellent production of Swan Lake yesterday. Even better than the Moscow Ballet Company. Marvellous live orchestra enhanced the whole experience. Well worth waiting to see and I hope the same Company is booked next year. A highly professional viewing of a much loved Ballet, comparable to those I’ve seen at Covent Garden.

We went to see the sleeping beauty panto between Christmas and New year and we all loved it.
Lovely theatre and the tickets were very reasonably priced. The kids were in hysterics!!
We were on the front row of the dress circle at the end with the obscured view ( noted on the website when booking tickets) which was just a hand rail (see picture) which wasn't much of an issue for me.
Will definitely keep an eye on future shows there and hopefully return soon

This was the first time I'd been to this venue and wasn't disappointed at all.

The theatre, though not massive, has impressive interior and very friendly staff.

My wife, two girls (10 and 11) and I saw the Sleeping Beauty panto - with out a shadow of doubt, the best I'd ever seen.

We will definitely be going back, this year, to catch a few more shows!

Just been to matinee performance of Sleeping Beauty, no children, just me and my friend. We thoroughly enjoyed, we had a great laugh. Thought the production was amazing. We loved Chester and all the cast. Well done.

First experience for my granddaughter of a pantomime. Oh my god how amazing. Everything was magical. She hasn’t stopped talking about it. My wife and I absolutely loved it as well. It had everything. As for the characters, well they were incredible and made you feel part of the performance.
