I have been training with Matt for over 3 years and as a result I have achieved the weight-loss and physical fitness I have been striving for, for a very long time. Matt is very passionate about what he does and motivates through example as well as his ability to inspire self confidence and self belief. My workouts are always tailored to my specific needs and Matt will always goes out of his way to ensure that they are varied, fun and interesting.

I thoroughly recommend Matt as a personal trainer, he is extremely easy to get along with and despite the intensive workouts each session seems to fly by. I remember calling him up tentatively and booking a free consultation session, I can confidently say this was the best investment I have made for my health and well-being.

Matt is an awesome trainer. When I was looking for a trainer I wanted someone who not only talked the talk but walked the walk too. Out of the many I met I was most impressed by Matt's dedication, commitment and knowledge about fitness and health.
Having had two children and various health issues over the past few years I was not happy with my body and level of fitness. In the 5 months that we have been training Matt has easily improved my fitness and body tone , but more importantly to me, this has helped to lift my energy, confidence and life.
Something that I really like about our workouts is the fact that we work hard but it never feels like an ordeal. Matt's nurturing and encouraging manner makes you want to give everything that you have and little bit more! He's never bullying or loud but I always leave the studio sweating and feeling truly satisfied with what I have achieved. I can't recommend him enough.

Having given up on disciplining myself to go to gyms, I decided to go down the personal trainer route. Matt was recommended to me by a friend, and from the first visit, I knew I'd made the right decision. From the outset, Matt makes sure he understands your needs and works with you to set goals so you always see results. He is patient, but knows when to push you harder. He changes the exercises to keep you motivated and interested, and has a great sense of humour so that makes every workout fun. I've been training with Matt for 8 months now and what I've achieved is not just improved fitness, strength, and body tone, but I have more energy, lead a healthier lifestyle, I'm more upbeat. I truly cannot recommend him highly enough.

Matt is a great personal trainer, great at motivating you to achieve more than you think you can, but in a friendly way. As a physiotherapist myself I was impressed by Matt's level of knowledge and skill. Would definitely recommend him to anyone of any ability, if you are just starting out and need to get fit/lose weight or already training but want to improve further, Matt is the PT for you.

Matt has been my personal trainer for nearly 2 years now, i needed to lose weight and get fit , he has given me the help, guidance, confidence and motivation to achieve this. He is an exceptionally nice bloke who has helped me achieve so much especially with the run up to our wedding . although i have reached some goals I never thought I would,i continue to go training with Matt as it is a way of life and really enjoyable and great results. I would recommend Matt to anyone who is either new to training or is wishing to find a new personal trainer . Thank you

I have been training with Matt for the past eighteen months. During this period, my body shape has changed considerably and I have reduced by 3 dress sizes from a size 16 to a size 10. I am fitter, healthier and more aware of my body than I have every been and this is all due to matt's continuous support, knowledge of exercise, diet and nutrition and encouragement.

He is a fabulous trainer who really puts himself out to make the sessions interesting, rewarding, entertaining and enjoyable! He has a very well equipped personal gym which allows him to conjure up a huge variety of workouts to ensure that our sessions are never repetitive, predictable or boring. I would recommend Matt to anyone who is interested in achieving their goals and who is prepared to put in the extra effort themselves to make it happen.

I started training with Matt around 7months ago, I remember coming to the free consultation and at the time my self confidence wasn't great at all and I was overweight. Matt quickly put me at ease and made me feel extremely comfortable and this has only continued throughout the time that I have been training with him.

I love the fact that Matt has his own gym, the equipment is great & it's nice to not be surrounded by loads of other people in a gym. Matt is extremely knowledgable & I love how he has shown me how versatile fitness and exercise can be. Matt always pushes me to go that little bit further and lift that little bit heavier without being aggressive and overbearing. Training with Matt is never boring, sessions are always enjoyable and I have learnt so much.

Matt's encouragement has massively helped to grow my self confidence and since training with Matt I have been able to achieve things I never thought would be possible! When I first started training I couldn't run for 1 minute without being extremely out of breathe and uncomfortable, through training with Matt I have completed my first 5k and I am now training for my first 10k. I also really like how Matt trains with me, he doesn't just tell me what to do and then I have to get on with it. He demonstrates each exercise and trains alongside me, which I have found extremely helpful. My plan is completely tailored for me, which Matt is amazing at doing for his clients, going beyond and above to write and create the training plan in a way that makes sense to me when I read it so I can visualise exactly what I'm doing when I'm on my own in the gym.

I have lost a considerable amount of weight and my body is becoming more and more toned since training with Matt, the combination of the of cardio and weights training plan and nutritional advice that Matt has given me have definitely been a huge factor in this.

I have been a client of Matt's for a couple of months and despite being a member of a gym who have their own personal trainers I chose to go with Matt, an independent PT. He didn't try to push me to purchase a course of sessions in advance or dictate how many sessions I did a week - he was flexible and his view is it needs to fit in with your life and schedule. I also liked that he has a private studio so you are not training and learning new exercises etc in a busy gym.

I've been going to the gym for years and enjoy running but have shyed away from the weight section being put off by the grunting meatheads however I knew I needed to focus on more weight and strength training if I want to improve my physique. It can be intimidating going to a PT and I was self conscious of my inabilities, wobbly bits etc but Matt is very personable, non judgmental and encouraging. I have seen many PT's at work in the gym who don't correct their clients form and don't focus on them doing the exercise correctly but Matt puts a lot of emphasis on this and he takes time to explain exercises why you're doing them what bit of the body its working etc. When I turned up to my first session I couldn't squat at all something I was embarrassed about but I am now squatting low!!

As a runner himself Matt has also helped with a plan and takes an interest in how I'm getting on with my runs. He focuses on exercises that will improve my running but also ensures he asks what runs i intend to do for the week so if I want to do a long run a day after a training session for example he wont go heavy on the legs.

He has also given me an exercise plan I can do in the gym which compliments our PT sessions.

I would certainly recommend Matt.
