Maddy is an incredible instructor, very patient, always smiling, helpful, very encouraging, extremely knowledgeable in her field and she offers alternative exercises if it doesn't suit. I can't fault Maddy in any way. A true professional.
Energise PT Wellbeing Studio is a very tranquil place and perfect for yoga, surrounded by fields and very quiet, the sunsets are amazing

I have been having PT sessions with Maddy since February and I think she’s amazing. Not only has she helped me with my fitness, strength and nutrition but also my mental wellbeing and confidence . I can’t wait for my time at the studio. Her knowledge on the female body and cycle teaches me the best ways to push my body. I can have a very negative mindset but Maddy soon stops that and encourages me to smash it every session. This is now a lifestyle change for me and that’s thanks to Maddy and her excellent ways of training.

Yoga
First started with Wednesday beginners group in January, wanting to get a bit of rehab after breaking a leg. Hadn't really exercised for years before that.
Didn't have a clue what to expect, after all, "yoga's not for blokes, is it?"
I have never been so wrong in my life!
After a gentle start with demonstration, encouragement, much patience and humour from Maddy, it all started to make sense. So much so that I also started to attend a mens yoga group on Mondays.
My core strength and flexibility has improved enormously and the reduction of everyday aches and pains is a great relief. I work in property Maintenance and as you can imagine this takes its toll on the body.
I now have the tools to self relieve back pain and help reduce stress levels.
Both groups I attend are humorous and relaxed. If I can't complete a move Maddy will always come up with an alternative, or much to her amusement, let me go freestyle!
The real joy of the mens group is that it is completely non competitive, there are people at all levels of learning. It can be extremely funny and most importantly of all; not a stitch of Lycra in sight! Shorts, tracky bottoms and T shirts are great.
Having previously been in education and training for over 20 years I can vouch that Maddy is a natural teacher and wants to get the best out of each individual in the class.
The studio is a short distance outside of Shepton Mallet, is easy to find and has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

After struggling with mental health I knew exercise was going to be the key, I didn't just want a PT who would shout at me so I gave Maddy a go. She's kind, caring and considerate but pushes you to do things you didn't think your body could. Its like a therapy session with talking and exercise. Her knowledge is incredible and has helped with joint issues and weak points. I feel so great after every session. I can already see results in weight loss, mental health and physical, never did I think I would be able to lift weights that I can today.

Maddy amd her gorgeous studio nestled in the beautiful Somerset Hills have changed so much for me. I arrived with quite a bit of extra post lock down weight, and was imminently turning 40. I felt sluggish, uncomfortable in my clothes and wanted to feel strong and confident again. Very quickly I felt empowered by Maddy to not only lift way heavier than I thought I'd be able to after so long, but to trust my body and take small steps every day to getting healthier and fitter. I've had a set back with a bad ankle injury and Maddy has found ways to help me rehab this without giving up. I'm wearing my skinny jeans again ! My skin is brighter and I feel fit and fab at 40! And I know its just the beginning. Highly recommend anyone looking to get stronger and leaner and feel empowered in it all, to see Maddy and make the investment in yourself. ❤️

I put on weight in lockdown and my mental health was rock bottom but I couldn’t stick to any exercise on my own and low energy is an issue for me.
Finding Maddy and lifting weights instead of trying standard exercise that never works for me, has opened a new door for me.
I have been seeing her once a week for the last few months and she has not only helped me physically but mentally as well.
I unfortunately suffer with a multitude of issues that nearly pushed me to breaking point when I was recently diagnosed with PTSD. Maddy helped me with this without being intrusive while I was waiting for my therapy appointments and taught me some centring and breathing techniques which has also helped me cope with my anxiety, depression and panic attacks.
To top that off, poor Maddy had to adapt my training because I have CFS. I’m amazed she even took me on, tears and all. 🌟
Maddy has changed my life for the better and I will always be eternally grateful.

I love Maddy!
I have been training with Maddy since Mar/Apr and have seen such an improvement in my fitness and mindset and this is getting better all the time.
We regularly track my progress and it’s always good to see the inches coming off 😄
I have no intention of stopping my sessions anytime soon and look forward to seeing myself progress even more.

A lovely friendly place to train, Maddy's knowledge about how to help with any issues or injuries is amazing and I come away feeling like I've achieved something. Maddy will push me knowing I can do it but it's always fun and I leave smiling. I would definitely recommend.
