Alkhamhurst Kennels

Lovely friendly people - we were worried at first because our pooch is getting on a bit - shouldn't have worried at all - he loves it, goes mad when we pull up, tail wagging so much you can't get hold of him. ALL the staff that we've met over the last couple of years, are very much into their dogs -there are photo boards with pictures of many of their pooch guests, they refer to them all by name, know what toys they bring etc etc.. - it's just what you want to know when leaving your precious pet for a week or 2.

This week was the first time my dog had stayed at Alkhamhurst and we couldn't be happier. Really well looked after in a great kennel with super staff, Rodney will definitely stay again when needed and I would recommend to anyone.

We leave our two Golden retriever in December 2017. They were caring and realible I notice because our dogs expres their feeling with the girls. Also they provide a double size kennel. Very comfy.

Fantastic service. Tyler our Cesky Terrier was needing short boarding for the afternoon and a place we found for him at very short notice. When picking him up after his visit he was so relaxed with his stay. A big thanks to all of you at Alkhamhurst Kennel. Would recommend to all.

My dog a Labrador stayed here two years ago I would highly recommend it lovey people who really care about your dog whilst boarding here.

We have been using these kennels for 5 years now. I will not go anywhere else. The owner and staff are super friendly and superb with our two dogs. My two puppers come back so happy and exhausted (which helps when you are catching up too from your holiday) It's clear pricing, great accommodation and I will always recommend these guys when ever anyone asks who to go with.

Used for short stay for two dogs. On collection the dogs were both bright and happy, not at all subdue by their change of routine and surroundings as we have seen at other establishment's. Dogs did not have "kennel smell" (damp doggy oder), even though the weather was rainy during their stay, which says a lot for the cleanliness inside the kennels. Will not hesitate to use next time.

What can I say. I wish we'd found these kennels years ago. Our dogs love the staff who are obviously very dedicated. They run in wagging their tails on arrival and you leave knowing they are going to be very well looked after xx
