Pets at Home Havant

Really friendly staff and a very tidy store. They have a fantastic selection of items avaliable here! I had a query about treatment and three colleagues were especially helpful.
The following is feedback I gave the store, which I thought may make a compelling case for the review:

Unfortunately, my cat had come down with a case of suspected Tapeworm infection (as identified by Brad from what I'd said), and I was unsure as to whether or not I could treat her safely again, as she'd had a veterinary-prescribed three month treatment exactly a month prior. I asked this question to Louise at the till, and as she wasn't sure, she called over her colleague Lauren. This clearly shows that Louise isn't afraid to ask for help and prioritises animal's safety. I repeated the question to Lauren, who herself was sure it was safe to treat again, but rang the manager, Brad, to get confirmation. I was really, really impressed by this, as once again it shows the qualities listed above. Brad was really lovely over the phone, suspected Tapeworm infection from symptoms given, and advised accordingly. I am really very impressed by all three colleagues and their willingness to not only help, but learn, too. Thanks to them, Pixie is once again safely worm free!

Awful customer service. We enquired about adopting a rabbit and we got nothing but attitude and poor communication and the lady was downright rude. She was constantly covering her mouth when speaking, rolling her eyes and gave the impression she didn’t want to have a conversation with me.

staff don't really know what they're talking about in regards to fish, products are good and varied but I was told that it is okay to have 10 zebra danios in a 30L here...

Pets at home are very caring and won't pressure sell. They offer practical advice and leave the ultimate decision to you. They offer a great range. I can highly recommend their pet plans as it saves you money and provides peace of mind that your pet is getting the best care

We are new to pet ownership . This is a big shout out to Laura. Recently dealing with the loss of her own wee cat, she is being brave and still wearing a smile. She is so patient, thorough, helpful and kind in word and deed. A wonderful human being. Thank you Laura. We'll keep coming back for sure 🤗
