The below review is the ex wife.They split up over 15 years ago and she has not been in this family run pet store for the same amount of time. Has been reported to google and screenshots taken for evidence. A loving, rescue friendly pet store with over 16 years experience having pet stores and lifetime experience caring for animals of all kinds. This person also paid to have inspectors lie so ignore these bitter ramblings.

Excited to visit soon and see Merlin the parrot!

On 22/5/03 a Fleetwood pet shop owner was fined for keeping animals in conditions branded in court as "dirty, smelly and overcrowded". Conditions at Pets' Corner on Poulton Road came to light when a woman who visited was so appalled by conditions that she complained to environmental health officers. Wayne Garside (43) of Poulton Road, admitted eight cases of failing to keep to the conditions of a pet shop licence and was fined £750 and ordered to pay £450 costs.

I think they got which animals are social wrong. They keep hamsters housed in groups while the rabbit and guinea pig are on their own? Should be the other way around.

The big white bird has quite a small cage imop but I don't know if he gets to free roam after open hours so won't judge too fast.

I got my partner a budgie for valentines. When i went in the shop it was colder than the outside on, saturday the 13th of feb. The african grey was literally shaking as were the other birds in this shop. We took home a young budgie they said nothing to us about him being ill. This poor budgie had a cold and we had no idea untill it was to late and we spent valentines comforting a dying bird, i went back on the monday as it was closed sunday. Told the worker and the response i got was "how strange..ooooh how strange" didnt try offer any form of solution or a why! So i said i will swap for a different budgie (as i really didnt want leave them in that shop any longer) but this time, now that i know it is ill. i can actually buy all the treatment and try and give this bird a chance. On day 1 he was throwing up, just sleeping. But as soon as we had given him the medication he has been a happy healthy budgie as he should be!

Put a heater in your shop and if they are ill tell buyers!! Because if we had known in the first place we could have prevented this. Simple.

We also got a male finch who had dried poo stuck too each feet, poo balls the size of marbles on each foot it took 3 weeks of unbalanced flying and sand paper perches to get that off. Clean your cages/and perches ffs.

Disgusting behavior.

I've bought my budgie, fish, and Rabbit's from the shop and the advice as always been spot on. Reliable delivery service, I've no issues at all with the owners or the pets I've bought.
