'DoLittle' Pets and Supplies

Fantastic... Simply fantastic service. Spoke to Gareth regarding buying my daughter her first pet and although they no longer sold hamsters he was a wealth of knowledge. Directed me to a reputable store and was polite and spent more time answering my questions then he had to. Will be buying all our supplies from him in the future and the delivery option is a great bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful too. I do not have a second though recommending them.

We have been customers for sometime and always recieve a brilliant service from the team. Everything is done quickly and efficiently the range of raw food is great. Also it's nice to support a local business that always delivers at a good price and with a great service. A big thank you from both humans and the dogs of our family!

Fabulous shop, really helpful, interested staff, well stocked. Set in garden centre with cafe and farm shop. Great for pet essentials, advice or just a relaxing browse!

Absolutely horrified by the conditions the small furries are kept in. One hamster’s cage was filled with flies, had not a single toy, no wheel, dirty water bottle and was way over fed and no way to exercise. They look so depressed it’s heartbreaking to see. One was being sold as a boy but very clearly a girl. Shop is boiling hot and they’re kept in cages with very little air flow. They do not have the facilities to keep small animals they should stick to birds and reptiles as it’s not fair on the rodents. Must be very stressful for them being kept so close to their natural predators. Some of the hamsters in there have been there for months with no enrichment it’s so cruel. Massive welfare issues happening here. I don’t know enough about the birds or reptiles to comment on their living conditions but at least they looked considerably better than the poor rodents. Hope some massive changes take place otherwise the RSPCA should get involved.

Edit to update seeing as we’re all giving our own accounts of what happened : All the points made in his response to me are blatant lies and he keeps trying to get me to delete my review which is an HONEST account of my experience there. His response showed how little he cared about what I was saying and was more concerned about his self image. Even admitted in his response that the wheel wasn’t working but was used for “relaxation” which defeats the point entirely. Shop seems to have very little knowledge of hamsters which was proved by the lengthy email I received in response to my review. I hope the owner doesn’t let his ego get in the way of taking on board what I have said and providing these animals with the proper care. And rest assured the hamster we bought to get her out of that place will never have to suffer again. I hope the same goes for the remaining hamsters left there. The owner could also use some lessons in decorum but that’s a separate less important issue- Scarlett Jackman.

Great for pet food. Excellent delivery service. Lots of choice. They've been feeding my dogs for years.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable - one lady spent a long time answering my (many!) questions about dry cat food and talking me through different options. I called up in the morning a few months later to order some more food, and it was delivered the same day, for free! Great service
