Pets at Home Bury St Edmunds

A decent selection of animals, pets and associated products is available here. Larger selection than some Pets at Home stores of fish and aquatic products. Friendly staff, cheap fish but expensive aquariums, treatments, food, dry goods, etc. When I visited the queue waiting to pay was long. I've seen this in others P@H stores. For the love of god, open more tills when you are busy. That way you make money quicker and don't lose customers.

We have our cockapoo, Frank groomed here by Dan. He’s the only person we’ve found that can do a good trim on our very hyper/badly behaved boy

Had our fox terrier haircut, was a appalling experience, the dog was half done and head had not been touched. The rest of the cut was uneven and bald on the rear . When I spoke to the manager and asked if the person who groomed our dog was qualified she replied that she wasn’t but at least the dogs had a bath. Customer service was appalling and not sure how mentally damaged the dog is. Overall I would recommend not taking your dog to this in store groomers unless you want a terrible unfinished job that will take a long time to grow out. So upset with how a unqualified person can carry out such work
Woken this morning and the cut is worse as you can now see how uneven the hair is all over. It’s down to skin on the backs of legs

Not the place to buy wax worms. Usually, they either have none avaliable or what they do have are cocooned, today however, it was a pot of moths.

Went to collect my click order. Staff were friendly and efficient getting my order.

Great store, incredibly friendly staff. Not the biggest Pets at Home, but well stocked with everything you'll need for your furry friends.
Vets for Pets instore are also very good, we have all of our animals registered with then and have never received anything less than exemplary service.

Last sunday i visited this shop to buy pet food for my dog...They none on the shelf and none in stock...I asked the assistant and she said i dont think we stock that food in this store....I said well thats odd because i always buy it from here regularly...oh she said ...well i will see if i can order some in for you...it could take up to 3 days...I said dont bother...Clearly soneone in charge of stock control isnt up to the task..
