Excellent staff and very friendly and helpful, Plenty of stock to choose from and some lovely fur babies too to re-home!

Twice I've been in today ,and was seen by a very abrupt member of staff twice,dint like her attitude at all.didnt get her name but she was a large young woman with long brown hair in a ponytail and full of cold blowing her nose on a tissue. The Male members of staff who helped me was lovely. This woman has put me off coming back.

Staff were really snappy and not interested in what I had to say or ask. There was a sign that said you could hold some pets I asked about this and the lady looked at my with the most dirty look and shouted you can’t hold the pets. Made me really uncomfortable and resulted in me buying a pet from a different local store I would not recommend going here as the staff are horrible.

I am livid! Went in to buy a hamster and was told they couldn't sell me one without proof I have got a cage. My partner went through looking for any pictures of it while I found the same one in store. For some reason the cage wasn't big enough which was weird since it was the same cage I bought in their St. Helens branch with my last hamster so they wouldn't sell me a hamster unless I bought a bigger cage. I guess they must work on commission... As a 45 year old who has kept hamsters a few times in the past I was absolutely disgusted to be treated that way. I will never visit a Pets At Home store again that's for sure!

Terrible customer service by a rude arrogant assistant woman 30s blond hair pink streaks and glasses left my child in tears by refusing to sell a rabbit because she didn't believe we had the right size hutch even tho she was shown a picture appalling service we shall be taking this further

With new puppy in hand needed the help of staff to fit harness and collar. That done the staff help me chose the right food, which I am pleased to say my puppy loves it's their own brand but both my puppy and senior love it. They then went on to engrave a disc for him . No waiting around calling back etc . All done for me at the counter in just couple of minutes.
