I would not have given any stars if that was an option. I understand the good reviews because I suppose it only becomes poor if there is a problem. I purchased a k9 sports backpack plus costing £79.99. On trying on the backpack without Sox in it, I reached up to fasten the sternum strap. I was so disappointed when one of the fasteners came off in my hand. I tried the phone number leaving messages 3 times over 2 days. No one returned my calls. I then emailed and on the third day I received a call from Kimberley. She seemed to be sympathetic to the issue until she insinuated I was to big for that size and should have ordered larger. I really don't know how she could determine that when she had never even met me. However that was certainly not the case as if the fastener had not come off I would have had to adjust the strap smaller to fit comfortably over my chest.
After numerous emails in which Kimberley kept advising me it would have to be investigated by the manufacturer and if they deemed it faulty she would get back to me. I was really becoming very frustrated by the lack of customer service when it was no fault of mine that I had bought a defective product. After having to threaten that I would take further actions due to not receiving any communication from Kimberley and having to send a message from my brothers email address due to being ignored I received a email asking me to return the item as a tracked signed for postage within 14 days. I felt unhappy at having to be charged expenses when it was not my fault so I contacted the trading standards and on there advise I contacted Travfurler again via email as the telephone number was never answered. I informed them that I had contacted the Trading Standards and under their instructions I was entitled to a refund and it was their responsibility to organise the return of the item. Again I was ignored so as a last resort I contacted PayPal resolution! This did the trick!!!!! Almost! I received a return postage label! However the footnote said this will be deducted from the return refund if not faulty!!!!! After being ignored and much frustration!!!! PayPal awarded me the resolution and refunded me. I thought naively if I paid more for the product the better it would be! Maybe from a different supplier it would have been. The way this woman Kimberley made me feel when it was totally out of my hands is shameful. I just wanted the best for my munchkin Sox!

Product was fantastic returns policy less than great. We ordered two sizes aiming to return the one that didn't fit. After returning the larger of the two we were informed there were marks on the product and a chewed label. Our dog hadn't been in the product so this confused us but there were marks that I can only assume came from the manufacturing process and the internal label had been folded once again during the production by the looks of it. Very odd but nothing we can do apart from sell the item second hand.

The product we did decide to keep has been great and already used on a walking holiday. Overall 3/5 because I can't fault the product we are keeping but the returns policy is less than ideal. Anyone looking to buy it I would advise only order one item at a time and check the product quality on arrival.

I have never done business with such an awful outfit. They totally messed up my order. I returned the item and then instead of refunding me, they sent me a gift voucher! I didn’t want a gift voucher, I wanted a refund. This is a nickel and dime operation. You do not get refunded postage. I will update this to let you know if I end up getting my credit card refunded. Somehow I suspect they will find a loophole to try and weasel out. Avoid at all costs.

The only reason this is a 2 star review and not a 1 is because they do reply to emails. However. I ordered a coat for my dog weeks ago. The coat was not cheap neither was it the cheapest place to buy it from. I ordered it from thus company as it had the fasted delivery time compared to other companies. I dont have free money to just keep buying coats so it's important to have the item I paid for. They will not give me a refund, its looking like its lost in the post. That's not my problem. Either the item or my money back. If you have problems with your delivery service that's a problem you have, it shouldn't be the customers. I will now follow this up and find out my consumer rights.

Travfurler is such a great one stop shop for so many items we use on our adventures. We have their unique water bottle, bandanas, leashes, cooling vests, cat life jackets, and more!
