Pet Emporium

This shop has been here as long as I can remember and I have been visiting it for that long. They sell absolutely everything you could possibly need for your pet, no matter how exotic it is. They also sell a wide range of animals. From giant land snails and tortoises to kittens and birds. The biggest problem with this place is that it's too small so if a lot of customer's go in at once it takes ages to get served. Apart from that small inconvenience I've had no problems with this place. Have bought animal feed from here for years. Never a problem with it.

Used these twice now. Won't be bitten a 3rd time. The quality of there inverts is shocking. The last one I brought was so dehydrated it drank from my finger, another died 48 hrs after buying. When I told the shop, I got told well we had had it for weeks and it was ok, it must be something you did. Lies as they ordered it in for me, and I collected within 48hrs.
I have 20 years exp in keeping inverts, do not use these they have no idea how to look after them, and what's worse, they don't seam to care.

The people here are very friendly polite and extremely helpful. The lady was very kind to my grandson and she was able to answer all of his questions about budgies (he has ADHD and ASD and believe me when I say that he had loads of questions lol!!!) I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a pet. They also have a large selection of foods, toys and other necessities for pets of all kinds.

I brought my daughter a hamster at Christmas, honestly it's the most gentle hamster we've had.

Fantastic service here today. The lady was knowledgeable, friendly and polite. She took the time to explain the various pets to my daughter and also answered all my questions too.

So very glad I decided to stop here rather than going to a large chain store. Will absolutely visit again.

I am new to the area and was looking for a pet shop. I was made to feel like a nuisance for being in the shop. The woman was tall with grey hair. Will never set foot in that shop again.
