Pets & Friends Mapperley

Took our 6 month staffy in today for a new harness staff very helpful. We normally go pets at home but after a recommendation thought we would give them a try will be back and won't be going pets at home again. Highly recommended

Apathetic staff with low product knowledge and even less knowledge of pet ownership (eg which dog bones are most / least prone to splintering or the fact that even a rechargeable battery has a finite life ).
Staff more interested in hanging around the till chatting than engaging with customers .
Over priced, low quality products ( eg dog lights made from highly brittle plastic which is doomed to fail within a few uses .
Increasingly limited product lines with centralised ordering system devoid of local responsiveness .
In short, as fellow business owners will recognise, all the usual signs of a dying branch or even a dying company .

Very helpful staff, great variety of animals catered for. Dog owners benefit from the dog shower for muddy dogs, pooch parlour, raw foods.

Staff are lovely. Customer service is key here. Also stock more relevant frozen food than pets at home. Loyalty card via online sign up and a wash your dog bath for 7 quid. Brilliant
