Took my Peugeot for diagnosis for a noise my local mot garage couldn’t pin point, £130 later I was told it was the driveshaft or gearbox minimum £500 up to over £2000 if not more, it was neither of these things it was a strut mount at a cost of £136, I phoned and spoke to management to complain and explain what stress it had put me under and I was refunded the diagnoses cost. If I hadn’t sought a second option I would be in debt now for a problem that still wasn’t fixed. Please get second opinion before you commit to work

Bought a very rare used Peugeot 308 1.6 THP 205. Imran was brilliant, very friendly, knowledgeable and on hand for any advice needed. Car got refurbished to an excellent standard and drives beautifully.

A very disturbing example of profiteering, booked my car for some work, with a quotation agreed price. Literally within 15 mins of dropping the car off at the Leamington site, I got a call telling me that they would have to double the price - despite a written quote they would not do the work for the original price. My only option was to return and recover my car. Never seen a case of such blatant profiteering. What a waste of day and my time. I did get a call later in the day, to say that the representative was misinformed, but no offer to compensate my time - but they get 2 stars for at least calling to tell me they were wrong.

I called Leamington Peugeot on 23rd August as my 10 year old Peugeot had a fault displayed on the dash that the particle additive level was low and needed to be topped up. I was informed that I’d be charged £180 for the privilege of a diagnostic on top of the repair. I said I wasn’t happy with this as it was very clear what needed to be done. I was informed that they wouldn’t do the repair without the diagnostic. I very reluctantly agreed as I could only drive a limited amount of miles whilst it needed to be topped up. I asked the lady to book it in to be told that the next appointment was 6th September!! This would have rendered me car-less and I was about to drive to go on holiday. Thankfully, I found Snows Peugeot in Chichester near where I would be staying who offered me an appointment in a reasonable time frame and fixed the fault without trying to fleece me for £180 for absolutely no reason. I don’t like going to dealers for repairs or servicing for exactly this reason but thankfully, Snows Peugeot were a lot more honest and trustworthy than Arbury Leamington….
