As per other reviews the service is terrible. It now takes over 4 days for a repeat prescription and even then they often don't have items in stock. The staff are inept and have little to no knowledge of the products they sell, even those for restricted sales. I appreciate you can't be an expert in all fields but reading the back of the box to me doesn't fill me with faith, I could have done that myself!
I've just signed up to an online prescription service, for anything else I'll be going to Whitewater at Hook.

It’s difficult to describe the degree of ineptitude with which this chemist operates. The staff are pleasant enough, I feel quite sorry for them really. The systems and processes if there are any are just woeful. It doesn’t seem to matter how many days notice they get to prepare a prescription it’s almost never ready.

I imagine there’s some mad professors in the cellar with a sixth form chemistry set making up the medication. Perhaps Hartley Wintneys own version of Breaking Bad!! I suspect it would be easier to make them myself with the help of Mr Eisenyhingy

Come on Lloyd’s, sort it out. How difficult can it be to take medication off a shelf and put it into a bag with my name on it and then call out across the room “what’s your address?”

If only McDonalds would diversify, they’d have a drive through! I could get my McDrugs with a McFlurry.

Is this why the prescription fees are now so expensive and charged per item, to ensure a profit despite massive inefficiency. No sensible business would operate this way, it would go bust.

Pretty aweful service. They always lose my prescriptions. When they making new ones find the others. Then they double up on prescriptions. Thinking in opening my own pharmacy. Despite the people working there is nice and polite their service is worse than useless.

Whilst the staff in this branch are lovely and helpful it’s ridiculous that you are made to wait so long for an urgent prescription. I went in today to pick up urgent medication which my doctor had sent across yesterday (I didn’t bother trying yesterday as I knew I wouldn’t get it). I arrived at midday to be told that they hadn’t downloaded yesterday’s requests yet. Utterly ridiculous- why on earth isn’t this done first thing in the morning so people can get medication when they need it? They place no urgency at all on patients needs. This has happened before when I had a chest infection and could barely breathe - the doctor sent the prescription straight down and I headed in to get it to be told they wouldn’t be downloading the request until the afternoon and I would have to wait!!. On that occasion I was saved by the Scottish lady who works there who pressed for the pharmacist to sort it out.

Went to collect my Fiancé's prescription today after driving back from work. a very young lady collected it from the back. Asked me if she paid for prescriptions, I said no she doesn't, and have never been asked before. She refused to hand over the prescription and was extremely rude until I found out the reason. I couldn't get a signal for my mobile, so went to the entrance of the store to try. I gave the lady the reason and she then handed me the medication. This information I had to give was personal to my partner, hence I dint know why, and having to give the medication and reasons with other customers around hearing is extraordinary behaviour from anyone. I asked if she could put down on records so that I would not be embarrassed again and she almost shouted that NO, I cant! A shop with other customers around, and made me totally embarrassed. I replied she shouldn't be so rude and wondered why any customers would be rude back and you have a sign about rude customers and assisting the Police on the counter. What about very rude staff. We are now changing our chemist. I am almost 60, with many health issues, and to be treated like that in a shop for no reason is beyond belief. I was dressed in office clothes, I wasn't scruffy, or looked like a thug, I don't expect to be treated as such.

Not sure what's going on with this banch, however in recent few months: 1) no one answers the phone anymore, and 2)the automated response says enter an ID - which is not appropriate for customers calling in to see if their scripts are ready. Really disappointing as it never use to be like this. Hopefully customer service/experience are seeing this and can make any adjustments needed.

I have been using the Lloyds phone app for prescritions. Big hold ups on several occasions this year down to the prescription somehow not being retrieved by my chosen store in Hartley Wintney. People at Hartley Wintney unhelpful and dismissive.

The staff here are always lovely and work hard, but Lloyds clearly mismanage this branch horribly. It is not acceptable to order a prescription 5 days prior, only to arrive and be told it hasn’t been actioned and you’ll have to wait another day.
Sort it out Lloyds, staff your branches properly.
