Rowlands Pharmacy Fleet

Fine for shopping, but incredibly slow to fill prescriptions, the one inside the doctors surgery is way better if you don't have all day.

I remained loyal to this pharmacy after our surgery opened one but I have finally given up. Today I was the only customer. The assistant was reading the back of a package of the shelf and did not even acknowledge me for 2 minutes. They eventually came, picked my prescription off the shelf then wandered behind to the girl packing prescriptions and had a chat and a laugh. They then returned, leaned on the counter and sighed 'Geez Louise' as I was signing the form. This is not an isolated incident with a particular member of staff and I will not be using them any more.

In the past two years my partner who is type 1 diabetic has not received a correct prescription. Most of the time the insulin he needs to survive is not ready for him, making him be cautious not to run out and have none left in an emergency. Because he doesn’t like to be rude he even once was admitted to hospital because he was unable to take his insulin and due to rowlands incompetence and not wanting to be bother so only telling his doctor in the event of becoming DKA. The staff don’t care and make no effort to resolve any issues for him. Avoid at all costs.

Forget Echo and Pharmacy 2u,
Literally after 20 mins of speaking to One of the staff,my medication was at my door.

Was ignored, waiting at counter for over 10 minutes without anyone coming to serve me. I gave up and left and now will avoid this pharmacy.

I've been using the pharmacy since 2010 and yes there have been a few problems but the problems are not within Rowlands, they are held up at the surgery! The staff are always so busy but they do notice you when you enter the shop however please consider that they may be caught out sorting out someone else's meds, they always apologise for any delay and are always friendly and approachable, and if they have a giggle at work then so what?! On several occasions they have gone over and above any expectations to ensure I have the meds I need. And the delivery drivers are brilliant too, very friendly and polite. I wouldn't go anywhere else, the other local pharmacies are well below par of this branch of Rowlands!

I felt I needed to write a review to say that my recent experience with the staff at Rowlands at Church Crookham has been brilliant and everything they said would happen has and they have made the whole experience easy for me. I went to several other pharmacies in the area and I was ill informed about services provided for vulnerable elderly patients but Rowlands have been so supportive.

People make mistakes and errors happen but as long as things are rectified, you can’t ask for more than that.
