I had visited this pharmacy at temple hill square in Dartford quite a few times over the last 2 years for collecting my repeat prescription. This is the closet pharmacy to my residence.Every time I went there, the pharmacist woman had been very rude to me for unknown reason.I recently went to collect my ordered medicine and an older woman in the reception was searching for it with my surname. Then the shop owner lady interfered very rudely. She got annoyed when I went to collect my order on 4th working day after ordering it.She said it only comes after 4 days and she was like questioning me as if I did something wrong. She was treating an adult person so unprofessionally.I showed her on my Healthera app showing that medicine is ready for collection and thats why I went there. She raised her voice and ignored my questions and said if I haven't received a mail or call from her that means the medicine is not ready. She was saying all this in a bullying way.I felt very upset on her behaviour. She was not talking to me on a gentle way at all. There was another older woman in the reception who was very helpful and I said thank you to her and this woman(the rude one) was laughing at me.
I have been on regular medicine and I ordered it in advance so that I wouldn't be missing it.But the woman didn't give me a call or mail, when I went again on 9th working day just to check my medicine was ready but couldn't get it even though I waited 30 miniutes in the pharmacy with my child. This woman was dealing with a customer over phone who got really annoyed with this woman's rough talk.As there billing system works with phone she couldn't take my payment hence I had to go home empty handed. I got my medicine on 10th working day after I ordered it.By the time unfortunately due to the negligence of this lady I missed my tablets for 2 days.
I wouldn't have posted this review if it was my first experience. But I had few times similar conversations from her.2 times when I was there I noticed that she was dealing with unhappy customers over the phone.
This woman's behaviour me really upset. How people who works in healthcare can be so unprofessional.I do work in healthcare and how much I value compassion, care, good communication and empathy to the sick.
Now I changed my pharmacy to Boots at town centre.
I hope this woman make an effort to change herself or attend some anger management courses to help her.
Unfortunately several months ago was given correct medication but wrong dose.
I didn't notice and took for a month which has left me with long term problems.
The staffs are very professional. They even helped carry my heavy stuffs to the car. Lovely people. I am so grateful.
I have never had a pharmacy not answer their phones or not call back after leaving a message - their answering machine even states they will call you back. Its ridiculous
