Phone never answered, despite advice that you should call to check that prescriptions are ready. Medicines routinely out of stock, even when a good period of advance notice (one week) is given. Waiting when collecting prescriptions can be very long. You’d think a pharmacy on the same site as a GP surgery would be well organised, but unfortunately this place gives the feeling that they can not cope with the volume of customers they handle. On the positive side, they do often have toiletries reduced to 1 pound.

Not at all helpful!! Told me to ring 1111. I rang Boots in Coalville instead and they were able to help me. My prescription had been issued by my GP on 30th May but hadn’t been actioned by Well Pharmacy, Broomleys and so because of the 2 days Bank Holiday and Broomleys Well Pharmacy being closed on Saturday I had run out of my prescription, hence my visit to Well Pharmacy Long Lane. I would like to pay tribute to the Pharmacist and staff at Boots in Coalville. They were extremely understanding and were only too happy to help; a totally different experience compared to Well Pharmacy.

Normally really polite and helpful but today lady was very abrupt and blunt and pretty rude to be honest I understand they are busy but it costs nothing to be nice have prescription in to doctor last week and not ready a week later!

Poor service. Last three times not got mums prescription. Tell me to back next day ,outstanding tablets still not there. Person from GP goes round hey presto they can order from different suppliers. Mum is diabetic and these tablets she relies on.
Also hygiene standards aren’t very good either

Absolutely disgraceful service everytime... too many bad examples to even list.

Plus point: Standard repeat prescriptions are usually on time.
Minus points: They never answer the phone. Non routine prescriptions cause the wheels to fall off. Far too often they get them wrong or haven't actually ordered them when I call in to chase up (because they don't answer the phone).
Summary. Routine stuff is good, non routine stuff and telephone service is absolutely dire. If you are considering using this pharmacy then I would advise against it. They really are dreadful

Rang chasing my Mum's prescription delivery date confirmation, no answer when ringing on numerous occasions, extremely poor service!!!!!
