It is handy having this small local boots across the road. If you need to pick up your medication then i guess its good to go to. So many times when I have been they can take forever to get your medication at times I have waited up to 15mins. I find they hardly do what you want sometimes like they are very rare with what they have now. The staff are friendly and helpful but sometimes service is slow if they are short staffed and at times when going in they are at the back and I have had to wait around for someone to come to the front and serve.

Since the old staff left a few months ago, this place has gone DOWNHILL. I’ve never had any issues in 10 years until this change of staff. I have had a handful of problems the last few months but this is the most recent issue. I have a repeat prescription for some tablets as I have SEVERE allergies, this should be ready MONTHLY - when I went to pick them up, they told me that for some reason they hadn’t gotten them ready and they would text me to pick them up the day after. It’s now been 2 weeks without these meds and after speaking to the lady from boots today, she repeats the same excuse although it has nothing to do with my issue or relates to why they still haven’t gotten the prescription ready. My repeat prescription should be ready monthly, it’s automatic. It doesn’t need to be put through by a doctor every month. I even had to go to the GP to speak to them to put it through again even though they said it had been done and it’s automatic, although the lady from boots who was adamant that after 10 years of repeat prescriptions, we suddenly need doctors to call them each month. The lady from boots was frustrating to say the least. Not to mention she has a disgusting attitude.

This is literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure of living close to. Never ever have anything in stock it’s shocking. The people are often quite rude also. Wish they’d just focus on getting the right sort of stock in otherwise it’s essentially a pointless pharmacy!!

I dislike leaving negative reviews, but jumping on the bandwagon with this one. Being the closest pick up pharmacy I usually have prescriptions dispensed here. On occasion a select another close by pharmacy which is where I went to to collect something, turns out it got accidentally dropped off here at Boots (which is the same story every few months) The really helpful representative at the other pharmacy said that she could issue it there providing that they could approve it over the phone at Boots. Over the phone, the representative 'accidentally' selected the incorrect button which declined the requested and meant it could now only be picked up from Boots (the already incorrect location for prescrp). This wouldn't have been as much as a problem if their opening hours weren't so poor. And she did it just at closing time, and no care or mention of staying open for me to collect it (being a short walk away) not being able to get there in time has caused me awful pain and meant I've lost work due to one carless action had I not collected it in time. If you work in a pharmacy dealing with medication and drug dispenses for people who really need them urgently you should be trained to be much more careful and give way more attention to detail to things like this. Pretty infuriating. The should close this as a 'Boots' and just make it a new reliable pharmacy with realistic working opening hours, 8/8:30am - 7/7:30pm etc.

I went in today to get some private prescriptions, as I did for the last ten years. Expecting to be served with respect and discretion. In this occasion the service was not discrete, but instead I got an discourteous and rude chemists with a terrible attitude!!! I am never going there again

Really poor service. Despite there being 6 staff in the pharmacy it took ages for anyone to acknowledge anyone was waiting. They only allow 2 people in at 1 time and while 2 of us waited for our flu jab appointments for over 20 minutes they left a queue of 5 people outside with zero acknowledgement. Service is just really slow and inefficient and only 1 member of staff was wearing a mask.

This is not a Boots chemist anymore it is some independent or other, they have an unhelpful and rude attitude, and really expensive prices which must be a rip off, I needed something quickly or would have left and gone somewhere else.

I do not blame the staff in this store as they are obviously poorly supported by the big cheeses further up the food chain. I had a click and collect order due on 2nd December, almost a week later it has not arrived. I can get no response from the "virtual assistant" on the website, no response from logging a query and on the phone there is a message saying there is a 40 minute wait to speak to anyone. Boots have my money, my order and are treating customers with no respect. An explanation for the delay would be welcome and I would quite understand if it is due to weather/staff sickness/Christmas business and the like. But this lack of customer care is disgraceful and not worthy of a company like Boots.
