Nice lady in there but I went to get something for a blocked ear and she sold me ear candles which I later discovered are a holistic treatment that have no scientific basis and are actually advised against on the NHS website because they have the potential to make the problem much worse. What’s more is I paid on card and didn’t get a receipt so I couldn’t take them back. Partly my fault hence not a one star review, but you would think they’d know better. Tenner down when I’m already skint :(

I called up in advance to check that they had a medicine that I knew was generally a little difficult to get hold of. The pharmacist told me that she would check, she did and then told me it was expensive, (which I was aware of) gave me the price and then told me I had to come and pay for it that day as she had experiences of holding medicines for 'no show' customers. I turned up within thirty minutes of our conversation and asked for my prescription. She then told me that she did not have it in stock after all. I politely reminded her of our telephone conversation and asked why she had asked me to come to the shop. She responded aggressively and turned her back on me rather than offering an apology which I would have expected and accepted. She was surprisingly rude and I shall not return. Clan Pharmacy on Upper Street are excellent and that has now become my regular pharmacy.

Really lovely and helpful pharmacist. They had a medicine which many other pharmacies try to tell me (incorrectly) is prescription only. Will come here again.

Wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy. I got some eye drops which were double the price from any other boots or pharmacies. When I got home and opened them, I realised the lid was already loose (hence already being opened). Won’t go back.

Such lovely staff. The pharmacist is kind and helpful and works hard to help address any concerns. I have always managed to find what I'm looking for here, and if not, the pharmacist has kindly ordered it in for me!

Helpful staff and genuine customer focus. The Pharmacist Mrs Aziza and her support team regularly go the extra mile to assist with queries, and helping me to obtain the best from the NHS and over the counter products.
Highly recommended y to use this chemist and you will see for yourself.

Friendly and helpful staff.
However, there is a surcharge for card payments under 10P. This is not only illegal (since 2018), but also strange in an NHS service you'd expect to minimise cash payments for hygiene reasons.

Nice staff but went in needing a few paracetamol and ibuprofen… and the bill was over £6. Walked to Tesco and got both for less than £1.
