Maple Leaf Pharmacy

If I could give this place a minus rating I would. Appalling patronising customer service. Repeatedly incorrect dispensing of medicines. Told me it was my responsibility to make sure that I received the correct medicines. Staff excruciatingly rude and when I tried to speak to the pharmacist in charge about it and was told this woman was “pretty near perfect” (make of that what you will). This has happened multiple times over a significant time period. Will now report to the GPhC and SWL ICS/CCG

Just about the nicest, friendliest and most helpful team of experts you'll ever meet. I've been coming here for years and felt the need to show some love, because they are literally my go-to, I'd value their opinion over a GP anyday. David has to be the most helpful man and the entire team here are just fantastic. We are so lucky to have them on our doorstep - thank you for al you do.

Just received an excellent service from Binta at Maple Leaf, absolutely fantastic, very helpful and above and beyond to get what I needed urgently. Thank you very much indeed. 🙏🏼

Usually very friendly and helpful staff but this time I was served by an elder lady with glasses who was extremely condescending for no reason. Discouraged from going there again. Canceled my prescription to go to a different chemist.

Everyone from the staff to the pharmacist were so incredibly kind and helpful to me when I went to have a prescription filled. There is also a really nice selection of skincare bath products. What a lovely family feel to this place.

Usually helpful but today 27.09.22 would not accept £20 notes cash (still legal tender until 30.09.22) as stated their banking system will not accept. Nor would they accept £50 notes (presumably trying to avoid fake) or American Express (presumably trying to avoid paying amex fees).

Good pharmacy with friendly staff. It feels like a very traditional place, which it's nice to have in a town like Twickenham. It's also in a very convenient place from The Green Surgery, so good for prescriptions.

My daughter asked me to check with Maple leaf if they had a medication she was having trouble locating. I spoke to a older woman with glasses and an unpleasant attitude. My question was do you have this medication to which she replied Yes, but who is it for? I replied my daughter and child, the woman said they would have to come in themselves to be seen before she would give it to her. I explained my daughter doesn’t live in the area, but she shrugged her shoulders and said they need to come in themselves. I will add at this point that there was a witness to this conversation. My daughter had to drive over which took an hour. She spoke to the same woman who told her they didn’t have the medication and hadn’t said she should come over!! My daughter left very upset.
I decided to go in later that day to speak to the woman myself. She completely denied having said that to me at all. I continued to ask her to at least have the decency to be honest and admit she was in the wrong, but she refused. Thankfully another lady member of staff, who had been present during the initial conversation came over to her and said, you did say that. The woman looked very annoyed and just kept saying I didn’t. At this point David the pharmacist came over with a bottle of the medication they didn’t have. He said it was from someone else’s prescription, but would sell it to me if i stopped arguing and didn’t say another word, if i did say anything else he wouldn’t sell it to me!! I offered to speak to him about the problem to which he replied “Right thats it, you’ve blown it, I’m not giving it to you, get out!! I decided to leave i was absolutely disgusted.
My only thanks and huge respect goes to the lovely lady staff member who had the decency and guts to stand up for me.
