Service can be painfully slow at times. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful however, there are a couple of staff that are both pitifully slow and seem to treat customers as if they are an inconvenience. The pharmacy does stock most/all of the medicines that I require on a regular basis; no complaints in that department. Overall, a typical local pharmacy in most ways. If one or two members of the staff sped/cheered up I'd give it a hearty recommendation.

All the staff are delightful apart from the female pharmacist who is lazy, rude and repeatedly makes, mistakes with prescriptions. No apology, no responsibility.

If you’re thinking of working at this pharmacy, do not !!
It is extremely hot in the pharmacy in summer as there is only 1 fan to share with everyone. Inside the pharmacy is a lot hotter than outside is. You do not get paid on time I had to contact the owner several times about my pay. This pharmacy is the worst place I’ve ever worked. The manager does not treat you with respect, she gets annoyed when you ask her questions and she treats you like you’re beneath her. Do not work at this pharmacy. Save your time, mental and physical health and work somewhere else !

I went into the Aura Pharmacy in Brecknock Road this afternoon, having waited until the 2 customers in the store had left. The sales assistant had a mask on but not covering her nose. I asked if she could rectify this. She told me that the mask was staying where it is. I left to go instead to York Pharmacy, just 200 metres the other side of Camden Road.

A pharmacy caters for a spectrum of people whose health is poorer, and vulnerability is greater, than average. As I am sure is common in people in their 70s re-emerging from lockdown, there is substantial anxiety about social contact. To be told by a sullen young woman that she will not adhere to the guidance recommended for customers just seems wrong.

Might I recommend York Pharmacy. Kind and polite staff and more convenient opening hours.
