I never came here before. Today was my first experience and I am delighted to say that I am so happy that I picked this a pharmacy .

The lady in the front desk was indeed very pleasant , calm and kind

(How nice is when someone is not being patronising …)
I really liked her attitude towards patients

Especially when you are in so much pain - all you wish for is someone to be kind caring and understanding thanks mayday pharmacy you have an excellent team .

My experience with this pharmacy has been terrible. My grandmother needed an emergency prescription and was told by the pharmacy she needed 111 validation. After being on the phone for ages the 111 operator told me the system was down and that validation would not be possible, he also said pharmacies had been notified of this. I then call the pharmacy back and explained the situation but they refused to accept and went on to explain my best option was to wait in A&E for hours even though they could’ve followed protocol and given my grandmother her medication. On top of that the pharmacy went onto hang up the phone on me. No professionalism whatsoever.

Luckily Tesco pharmacy were more than happy to help us out.

The ABSOLUTE worst place I’ve ever had to deal with, they have 0 understanding of how to deal with an EMERGENCY, In all honesty they should be looked into because the lackadaisical approach they take to patient care is disgusting, I’ll never write a bad review but this place takes the cake for the worst pharmacy in London.

Walked in there urgently needing medical equipment they sell on the shelves and even though I was frantically asking to pay for the item the two men behind the counter were more than happy to take their time and answer phone calls instead of simply processing my purchase. It was more than obvious that I was in a rush and in an emergency situation. Genuinely makes me feel sick that I put money in their pockets

Excellent service, only waited 10/15 minutes for antibiotic prescription for my 22 month old grandson on a Sunday afternoon.

What a relief after Tesco Purley were out of stock & Boots Valley Park Pharmacy were closed despite saying they were open on Google!

Thank you Mayday Community Pharmacy.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I find this pharmacy brilliant. I can usually get really good advice here when I can't from other places. Respectful helpful service.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Phoned up to check if some drops were in stock and they said yes, travelled there to be told they are out of stock.

During the pandemic, this vaccine centre was placed two doors up from the Mayday Community Pharmacy in an old opticians. I went today for my booster jab, note that while I booked an appointment via the NHS website, you still have to join the queue outside the centre regardless. I queued for over an hour but once you’re in, it’s pretty quick and the team were really friendly. Considering how many people they’re taking in and out, without breaks for themselves, cut them a little slack. They’re doing great with what they have. I’d recommend taking a book/audiobook/umbrella for while waiting in the queue.

I went here after calling 119 about a booster dose. I was told they did walk ins and to go anytime .
When I got there at 1030 am there was a sign in the window that walkins would only be seen after 2pm. I told the receptionist what had happened and she said she would accept us then.
The next thing, a man came out onto the footpath and started shouting at me, saying I had to leave and that it would be too much of a disruption and that people with appointments would be upset. Very unprofessional and rude in front of a queue of people.
