Boots Pharmacy

They never have prescriptions ready even when they have had them for a week. Recently they have not been able to fill due to “Needing to order”. Things seem to be getting worse, and they just don’t seem to care. Kamsons in Pound Hill was great.

Overal a stressful experience! Most of the staff can be pleasant enough, however usually customers not acknowledged & left to last minute, phone never answered for enquirys & no privacy!... Such a shame for a local community pharmacy & under the name of 'Boots' - it could be so different. I dread going in tbh!

The queues seem to be getting worse. I went to collect a prescription and they said it wasn’t in stock anymore. The queues have never been this long plus they take half an hour for lunch. Don’t really understand why.

It is not advertised on Google profile or website that they close for lunch. Cannot drive due to my illness so have walked down (with vertigo so not easy) and they are shut. Now have to stand here an hour. Please could you sort yourselves out and get more organised with your communications! You are supposed to be here for people who are unwell and we need to be able to rely on you.

Helpful, friendly, well stocked and quick. What more old you ask for?

Incredibly disorganised. I’ve been trying to pick up my medication for 3 weeks and never in stock or hasn’t been ordered. They never answer the phone and they’re opening hours don’t work for anyone who works 9-5 and the close for an hour over lunch so when are you supposed to pick it up! Some of the staff are lovely but most ignore you, refuse to make eye contact and are not helpful, it’s just ‘sorry we don’t have it’ . . . With no offer to help or offer any suggestions.

It’s also not fun standing in a queue for 30+ minutes each time to be told they cant help you, sometimes outside in the rain as the pharmacy is full.

I’ve changed pharmacies now as it’s not worth the hassle.

My biggest issue is they close for an hour over lunch everyday but it’s not published anywhere. They have a poster on the door but not even the Boots website confirms they close.
They also rarely answer the phone. Otherwise when you go in they are always helpful and serve people as quickly as they can.

Rubbish. Stand in a queue for ages before being served, never answer the phone after the surgery advises to call them to prepare yr prescription. Service is very slow.
