Use to be a well run pharmacy when Sam the pharmacist was there, he has now left and the place has fallen apart. They don’t even answer the phone when you want to check if your prescription is there and you go there and they haven’t even ordered it in a week after the doctors have sent it to them. I stood in a queue for 25 mins with 2 people in front of me and 25 mins later the same 2 people are there. 8 members of staff behind the counter all looking clueless. The place is a total shambles and is no longer customer service conscious. They do not care about you medical conditions they lie about ordering in your medication and have not problem with you returning multiple times. A truly shocking place, i can understand why Sam chose to work else where.

Absolutely disgusted with this chemist. My husband has just stood in a queue to collect my prescription only to be told they would not serve him as there were too many people in front of him and they were closing. He explained that he was collecting my drugs as I have a heart condition. They still refused to serve him, he said so if I die because I do not have my medication what are they going to do. He was told sorry that is was not their problem and could not do anything about it.

I have been left without medication needed for many conditions, the most critical being heart medication and medication for my Addisons. They told me last Monday that lots of my medication was out of stick. Now I've found out they hadn't even ordered them. My GP is issuing a script now, but, I'm too unwell to collect, and scripts are normally delivered. By the time my prescription gets to them, it cannot be delivered today.
I run a real risk of, within the next few hours, adrenal crisis, which is life threatening.
They are not even answering the phone.

This pharmacy have gone above and beyond to get my medicine in for me and I can't praise them enough. It did take the suppliers 3 days to get the items to them but that is not the pharmacy's fault. This was an emergency prescription from a hospital where I live but Silversands is near where I work. When I phoned on Saturday to see if the items were in, Zoe offered to bring them to me if they came in, knowing that I needed to get a train down so may not get there before closing. The items finally arrived today and I received a phone call letting me know. Extremely apologetic (even though it was out of their control) but so friendly and helpful, a far cry from the ignorant, unhelpful service I received from a high street chemist who couldn't even be bothered to check if it could be ordered.

Please bring back Sam !! 2 out of 2 prescriptions messed up.. and for important medications.. “oh, I must have written the code down wrong” isn’t a good response neither is “it’s due this morning “ after being ordered 4 days earlier.

Always helpful and attentive. I always receive my prescription on time and I cannot fault the staff.

It used to be a well run store when Sam was the pharmacist. Unfortunately it now has new owners. In the past 11 days I've had to make 4 visits for the same item. Each time I'm told "sorry we dont have it, we need to make a special order". Each revisit, I get the same reply. Each visit the queues are out the door and minimum to date of 40 minutes to be told the same incompetent response. Today was the 4th time. I waited patiently for 1h 5m to basically be told they hadnt even bothered to place the order but they will place one for me.

The whole family have their prescriptions sent there, but that has now changed and suggest anyone else in the same situation does the same. Even under covid, the longest I had to wait was 20 minutes.

The new owner first blamed computer problems, then that the previous pharmacist had personal problems. I expect his personal problem was the new owners.

Avoid like the plague.
