Owens Chemist

The worst chemist to go to, they are unprofessional and arrogant. The staff are barely knowledgable and when you ask them a question they reply with "I don't know". There was an incident when I have just came out of a major eye operation and the doctor had prescribed me with strong pain killers, I decided to take it to this GP with my farther on the way home, once I get to the pharmacy and handed in the prescription they told me that the doctor had not signed it and told me to go all the way back to Chester hospital to get it signed. At this point I'm in unbearable pain and I needed the pain meds. My farther drops me home and quickly goes back to the hospital to get it signed and then returns to Owen chemist and hands it in. This time one of the staff says the dosage hasn't been written, instead of looking at the prescription properly the first time they made my farther go back and forth. I got on the phone with one of the staff and had ago at them, because I was having ago at them over the phone, they called the police on my farther who was just trying to get his sons prescription who is in great pain and agony. The staff didn't care, they were utterly rude and then they banned me and my whole family because they weren't doing their job properly. Absolute discrace, they are not concerned about anyone's health and when you confront them when they don't do their job properly they besically tell you to f*** off.

I rarely leave reviews but this pharmacy is by a long way the worst I have ever been too. Staff don't know what there doing are the pharmacist I met was both rude and arrogant. Strongly advise to avoid, there excellent other pharmacies in the local area.

The pharmacy is on a convenient place, but the staff there is horrible. Left me waiting without a word for 20 minutes for a prescribed meds that doesn't need mixing, just taking off a shelf. The pharmacist is ancient, he had my name printed on the prescription, managed to make 3 mistakes in it on the label. Unfortunately this is the only pharmacy around, so if I need something quickly, I have to use this one.

I find it strange how this pharmacy has any negative reviews. A very happy welcoming family caring chemist that has always shown great care and consideration towards me during visits. I’ve never had any problems.

Absolutely amazing! Never any issues with my prescriptions, the staff are incredible and this chemist has to be the most efficient one I’ve ever used. I can’t praise them enough

Made Mr wait over 45 mins for prescription as they had had alot through. No issues with that. Buy a judgement call if those people aren't actually there. Could you not do the prescription that for for me. Antibiotics.
Obviously unlike myself a nurse the pharmacist can't Obviously triage or make a sensible decision.

Poor service

Sadly after around 30 years as my local chemist I find I have to change as they can no longer fill my prescription which they have done but now say they cant get an item they have previously supplied. Good luck to all
