Boots Pharmacy

been a fair few times and it's still closed by 9:45 even if you don't need prescription stuff they "cannot let you in unless there's a pharmacist" which there often isn't! Have taken to using other pharmacies as they're more reliable and helpful.. Use somewhere else!

Most uncaring and rude staff I have ever come across in the health are system. I had to organise an urgent script to to be picked up and in was arranged by the NHS after hours group. Finally had the details confirmed but was given 15mins to run (cause I don't have a car) to this pharmacy. I arrived at 5pm on the dot and I know that's when they shut but it was an emergency script, I literally ran and just made it! All I had to do was sign for it! The workers were so disrespectful and just mouthed "we're closed" from behind the door....
I thought living in a country town like this the people would be nicer

Just been to this pharmacy, don’t normally use a pharmacy for advice, only prescription but couldn’t wait for an appointment at docs to discuss issue so asked the pharmacist for advice, young dark hair, very friendly, can’t remember her name but cannot thank enough for kindly advising. Gave me what I needed at a very reasonable price and My symptoms are already better in literally half an hour. Thank you!!!!!

Personally I've found this store to be very helpful with their advice and services. Only downfall is the 3 only entry system as you can't always see how many in store. So you either enter only to find there's already 3 in or you stand outside for an age in the rain when you could of gone in. But hey ho its a mad world at the moment

I rarely go in there now as there almost always a note on the counter to say , please queue at pharmacy end. Here you can have 5 or 6 people waiting to either pick up or pass over prescriptions. This is without the customers who just want to be served. I have waited 20 minutes in there just to be served. I go elsewhere now.

Absolutely disgraceful always have been never order my elderly parents tablets on time and this is a service they are meant to do , but this week have been horrendously worse, my elderly father asked them if he came to the door to collect his prescriptions would they hand it to him as he is meant to be staying in ,and staying away from people their reply was “ifwe are not too busy”. Have reported to boots who said store manager will be told but I won’t get feed back DISGUSTING SERVICE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF

The store closes every day between 1pm - 2pm.
Also has short staff so the staff they do have will do their best to help anyone ASAP but you do have to wait because they are very busy and receive hundreds of prescriptions every day which people do not appreciate.

Was waiting nearly 45 mins to pick up a prescription sent from the gp. They said they didn't receive and it went to a different boots and asked us to go there even though it was too close to closing time. Reluctantly agreed to do prescription, waited over 45 mins to get it. Staff were rude and lazy, especially the pharmacist.
