In both personal and professional dealings with this pharmacy I have found them both frustratingly unhelpful. It is the only pharmacy I have come across in East Leicester who will not take unwanted/unused medications for third world schemes unless they are morphine based which I found odd, indeed. I am usually in favour of supporting small businesses however I make an exception on Queens road and now use the well pharmacy across the road.

Extremely rude staff. Disrespectful and no manners. Would never use this pharmacy again only had to as it was a emergency, better off going somewhere else. Well-being is across the road so save your money and go to them instead of Knights Pharmacy.

I went in today for a private prescription. When I asked how much it would cost, I was rudely told it would be "expensive", and that they didn't have the drugs, and my prescription was handed back to me. Yes, it's an expensive prescription and the drugs will have to be ordered in - I know that! - but it's been prescribed for me and I need it. I felt really humiliated. What happened to patient care?

Very professional and helpful. The main pharmacist, Dr. Singh, is very competent and knowledgable. He rarely smiles, which can be mistaken for unfriendliness, but he is very kind and attentive, always ready to help and provide additional details (and sometimes he even smiles :-) ). He would make regular medication review with us and advise on dosages and uses.

The pharmacy is far from our place but we have chosen it because of its exellent service for our repeated prescriptions. Some years ago we alternated Knights with another closer pharmacy, but we got tired of long (above 1 hour) waiting for our prescriptions to get ready and from the inpolitness of the staff. With Dr. Singh we rarely wait more than 20 min for the same number of medications (about 20), no matter that we have not ordered them in advance (in contrast with the other one, when we order a day or two in advance and when we come to pick our meds they are not ready).

The only reason it is 4 stars not 5 is because of the other pharmacist, a lady with a long straight dark hair, which is very inpolite and unwilling to prepare the meds when we come; claiming we haven't ordered them (wrong every time but never apologised for lying) or finding any other excuses not to do it. That is quite inconvenient as we drive to Knights.
The other members of staff are very attentive and friendly and after so many years they feel like family.
If you don't insist on superficial american "smily face" but are looking for a quality service, I highly reccommend.

I normally come to this pharmacy to collect my prescription medication, which has to be ordered since it is a controlled drug. I came in last Thursday (11/08/22) to collect it and they told me that it would be available to collect the day after. I came to collect them today (16/08/22) only to be told that they couldn’t order it since it was out of stock. However, they told me nothing of this over the phone, so you can imagine my frustration and disappointment when I learned this. I ended up collecting it from Well pharmacy across the road, which in my opinion, is a better pharmacy.

Very rude staff. Better off going to 'well' pharmacy across the road.

I always choose to support small businesses, and I make a deliberate choice to support independent Chemists, however I found the senior female staff member very rude, blunt and unhelpful. I understand during a pandemic that routine business is harder but that doesn’t give an excuse for being short with customers and rudeness. I also heard complaining about general customers out loud at the back which I found unprofessional. I will be looking for another pharmacy or going across the road. Very unfriendly atmosphere.

They denied me access due to my disability. I have an assistance dog and they basically yelled to me across the store to leave. Said that only guide dogs were allowed. My dog was sitting nicely next to my wheelchair at the time, while I explained guide dogs are only one type of assistance dog, but other disabled people have them too, and they are legally required to give them access. I said I could show them the law on my phone (I have the full law and a pamphlet for business on my phone for these cases. No one else has denied me access after the misunderstanding has been cleared up.) and they said they didn't care about the law. I asked again if they just said they don't care about following the law, and they said yes and told me again to leave. I said I'd be making a complain, and left.

This made me feel really sad, anxious, and upset. This place doesn't care about disabled costumers. Being a chemist, they should know better.
