Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, attached to the local surgery but a pharmacy in its own right. I always get my scripts filled here, they also have a good range of over the counter medicines. Recommended

I've only ever popped in once looking for some St John's Wort. Unfortunately they didn't have any but the staff were very kind and helpful in telling me where else in town might sell it and how to get there - great customer service! :)

The parent company of this outlet have basically lost the plot. The pharmacy is inadequately staffed meaning there are often long queues outside, or short notice of unscheduled closures for staff breaks. Not only does the higher management appear to failing their staff, their apparemt failure to address what are long standing issues is creating the the risk of mistakes being made. To be clear, the staff are workiongf heroically. The failures appear to be those of the higher management

I have used this pharmacy for 8 years, the past few weeks the service has become horrendous and most people feel the same way.
Over the past two weeks I have been to collect my prescription 3 times and waited a total of 2 1/2 hours and still don't have it, today they told me they have dispensed it to other people.

Terrible service and people expected to wait outside with no where to sit?! Staff are pleasant but the delays in getting prescriptions are unacceptable.
Please bring out some chairs for those who need to sit while waiting.

9. 15 am as I write this review the pharmacy opened at 9 and the first people to go in still haven't come out with there prescriptions
It was an hour wait at lunchtime last week meaning I was late for work.. all of the new staff are incompetent and some are rude.. gone down hill very fast. There usee to be a time when you were greeted by someone who knew your name and had a smile on their face

We have always received excellent and very personable service from the staff at our local Wells Pharmacy in Ottery BUT I really have to compliment the Team after twice they appeared to receive the incorrect instruction from the medical centre for my medication , a similar name but not quite the correct code with of course me coming to collect..... and finding the wrong medication .... After another prescription came through they texted me ( so helpful ) to say `Ready`.... and when I arrived they had the correct cream ready for me .... with such polite appologies... which were in no way required ......
