Browns Pharmacy - Galley Common

Went today to buy some anti histamine for my dog, the lady behind the counter wouldn’t serve me as I’d told her it was for my dog, fair enough there company policy so I sent my husband in she told him they’d sold out despite me being there 2 minutes before, and her about to hand me the product. It was a very petty action that left my dog suffering for longer while I had to travel to another chemist. Not sure why it should make a difference if I’m buying a product for me or my dog, but if that is their policy fair enough. Why she couldn’t just then ask my husband if it was for him and then serve him is beyond me, it seemed to be a very petty, cruel action and I’m very disappointed that someone working in a chemist has so little compassion for another living creature.

Browns is the only chemist I use. All the staff are so helpful very friendly.they go above and behind to help give advice make u feel very welcome

Popped in to pick up a prescription for my son and unfortunately it hadn't reached their system yet. We did wait but was nearing closing time and they still couldn't get the details. Not their fault of course. My son needed the toilet and they very kindly allowed him to use their toilet and commented on how patiently he had been waiting and even gave him some chocolate for being so good. Thank you very much for looking after us!

Been in here twice now and both times they havnt stocked basic meds such as day nurse or equiv... Also refused to sell us antihistamines for motion sickness Won't be coming bk to this pharmacy go Lloyd's up the road at least they'll have meds in and sell you what meds you actually went in for!

(appreciate you have a job to do but I'm an adult I know what meds I need... Anyhow I went up the road and brought some from there so I'll be a repeat customer to the other store instead)

Just gotten off the phone, normally I was in contact with people in this pharmacy who are friendly and helpful. However this person was totally unfriendly and incompetent. She looked up the wrong person on register and insisted that my prescriptions not going to their pharmacy. After insisting that she double check my name and if my prescription came through she finally found me and all of a sudden my prescription was there... I asked her if it will be ready if I pick it up in and hours time and she just answered in a rude tone that one hour is ok. Didn't feel like she wanted to help, cutomer Service 0.

After experiencing many, many issues with prescriptions not being sent from our GP's, the staff at Browns managed to get an interim script sorted out within minutes for my son. I was astonished at how efficient they handled the issue & was left feeling cared for as a family. This kind of service by far exceeded my expectations of my call & cannot thank them enough for their help in this matter.
