Appalled by the service today, the Doctors made a mistake when issuing my prescription, the lady who owns the pharmacy told me that because she would have to do me an emergency prescription, I would have to pay a surcharge. I asked her why, her response was "because it's hassle for us". I explained I was exempt from prescription charges due to a medical condition I have, she told me I would still have to pay the extra because, and she repeated again "it was a hassle for them" not only has this pharmacy lost my custom, but so has Waitrose as I would normally do a weekly shop when I came to pick up my prescription every month. I went to a different pharmacy, and they solved the problem, I asked about charges for an emergency prescriptions, and they said they had never heard of such a thing. Will not be going back to the Waitrose pharmacy again.

Pharmacy staff let me down needing to have an urgent Doctor's prescription fulfilled.
Despite a call to the pharmacy earlier in the day clarifying the spelling and specific dosage strength they confirmed immediate stock availability, they suddenly change their tune when I came to the store at the end of the day.
No apology, no significant acknowledgement of a mistake, and just a meek dismissive statement that, "it was different staff earlier".
Poor poor poor service.
If it was some item of grocery then no matter, but this is an alleged professional medical service letting members of the public down for urgent medication supplies.
Nobody's perfect, we all make mistakes.... But you own the problem, apologise and make at least SOME cursory effort to check the details and quickly investigate.... None of this happened.
Why answer the phone if you can't field accurate information.
Why be in a public facing job if you can't handle simple face-to-face interactions professionally.
Would never have thought a business associated with John Lewis would handle something so important like this so poorly.

Desparately slow. "It's here somewhere.." the lady in front of me was told. I waited 10 mins before being told to wait for 10-15 mins. What about even basic courtesy and knowing how to deal with people?

Literally saved my week after multiple screw ups by the sainsburys pharmacy. Very helpful and really went the extra mile to make sure I got my vital prescription, would highly recommend.

Amazing service I called today to see if they was open which they wasn’t but he was there doing paperwork and opened to process my prescription for me! After sitting in urgent care for 6hrs and then struggling to find a pharmacy as it’s bank holiday this literally made me day! Thankyou again
