Went to pick up my prescription today, I am exempt from wearing a mask due to health issues, government guidelines pretty clear on this. Hostile attitude, no pleasantries. I said, 'thanks alot goodbye', no reply. The store is covered in signs, like excessively so, desk taped off like something from CSI. All together an unpleasant place to patronise.

The pharmacist was very rude with me on few occasions.

There is always a problem when you to pick up your repeat prescription! There is either items missing, which the GP has authorised, but the pharmacist has decided not to supply or not told you they don't have the item.

I think the pharmacist always saying speak slowly with very aggressively manner but I’m a team leader in Tesco all my colleague understanding what I am saying or speaking but I couldn’t understand y the pharmacist have an issue.

I feel like a discrimination against me…..????

Or they tell you there has been no prescription sent by the GP. When you ring the GP, they tell you it was sent on a specific date. Only for you to ring up Gately's to be told the prescription is there, and the "confusion" was that they thought it had already been picked up?!?! Surely a pharmacist with 5 years of training (!!!!) should be able to tell if a medication has been supplied to a patient or not?!?!?! Not giving patients the confidence that you can practice safely and competently!!

Literally the only reason I use this pharmacy is because a relative (who has the early stages if dementia!!!) kindly collects my critical to life (!!!!) medication whilst I'm in work at a local hospital!

Gately's. You really do need to try harder!

Gateleys staff always go out of their way to ensure I get my prescribed medicines on time. Since I rely on my prescribed drugs to get by day to day I'm thankful that I have such a friendly and reliable chemist nearby.
