I went for advice because I had some sort of irritation on the bottom lid of my eye. The pharmacist was happy to sell me some ointment but when I asked what I had, she responded, 'I don't know'. Then I told her that O was not going to put anything in the eye if we did not know what it was and she said that it was best to go to the doctor. So I did and in 2 secs he said that it was a simple common stye and that in future, I did not need to ask for a doctor appointment for that and instead I should go to the Pharmacist for advice. You can imagine my frustration and my time and NHS time wasted.

Nowhere else in my whole life have I ever encountered the horrific levels of rudeness, incompetence and indifferent idiocy that I have at this pharmacy branch. Aside from the ridiculous opening times, here are two of many instances of horrendous service:
1)The time it took for prescriptions to be approved (not on site, apparently) was taking longer and longer, so one day before a holiday I ordered my medication well in advance. I didn’t pick it up for a few weeks because I had Covid after I got back. I went in to get it when I needed it, which was a day after they sent me a second text saying my prescription was in. When I got there, I was told it had been sent back. Pardon? I didn’t know this was a thing. You should have been sent a text to say it would be sent back if you didn’t collect it, the lady said. I didn’t, I said – just another one telling me it was in. You’d have known had you tried to pick up your prescription late before, I was told. Well I’d never picked it up a few weeks after ordering it before so how on earth would I have known? Nobody had ever told me about a deadline, and there are no signs about it. The lady serving was extremely rude about it, too. No concern about why I might have picked it up late (this was when Covid was more prevalent) and she basically treated me like an idiot. I switched to Pharmacy2U after that.
2)I needed a prescription urgently. I went to Boots but they didn’t have it in, so suggested I tried elsewhere. I tried Rowlands. I heard the lady serving say “Is X even still a thing?” about my prescription in the back room (yes, it’s extremely common). She came back and said they didn’t have any in but that she could order me in some for after the weekend. I said thanks but I’ll try elsewhere, taking my prescription with me. I rang to check that Superdrug had it in and popped down. Superdrug told me they can’t dispense it to me until after the weekend because Rowlands had already sent the request in – despite me telling them I’d try elsewhere. It was urgent so I bought some top-up medication. Superdrug suggested I go back to Rowlands and try to get a refund, but honestly my life is too short for that kind of aggravation so I’m not going to bother.

Went in today for a Flu jab and had my Covid19 vaccine booster too.
Staff were lovely and helpful.
spoke to a receptionist earlier who was very friendly and extremely helpful.
Good pharmacy run by good people.

I can’t even say that the customer service is bad: it’s absent. Rude, surly, painfully slow. The customer is a nuisance, to be sent away.

The surgery sent my prescription on Tuesday, by Saturday it still wasn’t prepared. So I’m without over Christmas, causing pain and discomfort.

Who do you employ? How do you train them?

This place is a absolute joke. They must have the unluckiest staff ever cos every week a sign is put in the widow saying " sorry but one of our staff have been in a accident so we can't open yet". The total incompetence and rudeness (when you eventually get into the bloody place) is beyond a joke. SORT IT OUT!! YOU'RE PLAYING WITH LIVES

I have never in my long life been treated as rudely and as offensively as here in any other shop i have visited. I had the bad luck of facing an hysterical lady pharmacist, who, in a very thick Spanish accent, was insultingly and loudly repetitive in her refusal to make an appointment to give me the flu vaccine to which I am entitled by law. The only reason I could find is that she was in a very foul mood and enjoyed taking it out on customers. My attempts to contact someone else who may have a supervisory capacity produced no results. No one ever phoned me back, despite promising to do so, and no one replied to my mails. Avoid the place if you can.

Really awful place. It's amazing how they're still open. The staff are rude. Once had only half a prescription and had to call 111 for the rest. Incompetence at its best here. An urgent prescription you must allow 7 days wtaf!!?! This is the last time I use this terrible place.. if you're unwell DO NOT go here for your meds.. AVOID AVOID AVOID
