Well Whaley Bridge - Market Street

Went to buy a bandage today for ulcer on leg and assistant informed me that they don't stock them!! After a phone call from the doctor it appears they DO stock them, and I had to return and wait yet again in the madness and confusion,,,,,,, that only this Pharmacy can create,........ to collect said bandage. If you want a good laugh, don't go to the pub, just tell people you have been to Martock Pharmacy. Its reputation precedes it. This chemist is a disgrace, and should be closed down, its dangerous.

Helpful Staff, just what you want from a village pharmacy

This is the sorriest Pharmacy I have ever used. Inept to the point of farce. The staff seem to get by on lies and half truths and their convenient scapegoat, Martock Surgery. My parents are in their mid-80s and it is well nigh verging on impossible for this Pharmacy to manage a repeat prescription delivery. Six times in the last nine months, I have had to drive there myself to sort out the mess. This time, on Friday, my mother was assured on the telephone that the delivery would come today, Saturday. Sunday she would not have had one of her most important heart tablets. So once again, I drove there only to find out they don’t deliver on Saturday. The assistant spun the usual lies, the Friday driver didn’t see them in the box (yeah, right...), the Surgery was late sending on the prescription (the staff at the Surgery showed me on the screen that the sent the order across in good time), blah de blah. On leaving (with the prescriptions, my father’s labelled “for delivery” and my mother’s with no “for delivery” label (another lie?)) I turned back to see the counter assistant laughing.

On checking with my neighbours (we are relatively new to the area), no-one had a good word to say about this Pharmacy.

Don’t say you haven’t been warned!

What an excellent service and customer friendly approach. Forgot meds, really stress reducing conversation with staff on phone at 13.30. Advised on how to get script from my GP and by 16.30 my prescription was collected. Saved a 3.5 hr journey thank you so much
